Product Description:
STELLAR withdrawable medium voltage switchgear is a smart metal-clad platform serving three-phase AC 50/60Hz, 7.2 to 24kV busbar-sectioned systems. Deployed as indoor primary distribution in power generation plants, urban power supply networks, industrial systems and commercial buildings, the assembly performs power reception, distribution, protection, monitoring and control on a single physical framework.
Three voltage-class variants — 12kV, 17.5kV and 24kV — are built on the same platform, so a project engineer can standardise substations at different voltage levels without switching switchgear vendors mid-project. The base design evolved from a proven joint-venture platform, inheriting the manufacturing craftsmanship of that lineage while updating the electrical and mechanical design for GB, DL and Chinese State Grid tender specifications. Vacuum circuit breakers from leading international brands are fully compatible.
Two structural variants extend the platform. The double-tier withdrawable configuration houses two withdrawable vacuum breakers in a single cabinet, cutting floor area significantly — the natural fit for constrained substation rooms and old-substation retrofit projects. The double-busbar configuration provides an uninterrupted supply path, designed for metallurgy, mining and other continuous-process industries where a bus transfer must be seamless.
